About Us
Our Story
ARTery was born from a simple idea: what if technology could bridge the gap between talented local artists and the communities that surround them? We saw incredible art being created in studios and small galleries, often just out of public view. We wanted to build a path—a trail—that would lead art lovers right to the source of creativity. Our mission is to provide a platform that champions artists, simplifies discovery for explorers, and builds a trusted, permanent history for every piece of art.

Andy Dodsworth
Founder & Lead Developer
Hi, I’m Andy — founder, lead developer, and slightly obsessive art lover behind ARTery. This whole thing started because I wanted an easier way to discover great art around me — not just the big names, but the hidden gems tucked away in studios, galleries, and garages. I’ve built the platform so people can find artists they love, connect with creativity, and support talent in a way that feels real and human. Also, I just really like maps.

Deb Dodsworth
Artist, Educator, Co-Founder
Hi I'm Debs - an artist, educator, and co-founder of ARTery. With a brush, print or camera in one hand and a lesson plan in the other, I've spent years making creativity accessible and joyful. My art practice is rooted in storytelling, connection, and community — I'm passionate about helping others find their own creative spark. Whether running workshops, mentoring young artists, or dreaming up wild new ideas for the Trail, I bring warmth, wisdom, and a whole lot of colour to everything I do!
